Key to a healthier life
Health has become a major concern for people living in the world but unfortunately it has also been the most ignored thing in our daily life. We have developed the unhealthiest routines in our daily lives and still we long for a healthier life. Getting late to the bed with filled stomach and awaking again in the afternoon is a routine for over 40 percent of the US population.
Dieting has also become a fashion in our lives while we are now accustomed to eat unhealthy during our daily routines. Fried items are now the major part of our diet while fast food and other unhealthy and junk food is our habit. Eating late night is also a fashion now a days.
An important question arises here that how can we shift the negatively skewed lifestyle to a positive way and the answer is easy but difficult to practice.
Food and Vegetables for life
Start living an organic life and use a lot of fruits and vegetables in your daily routine. The best way is to develop a taste for semi-boiled or half cooked vegetables with a small quantity for their soup. Try using leafy green vegetables as they contain a big amount of good nutrients and vitamins. Make fruits a regular part of your daily food and always use seasonal fruits. Usage of dry fruits is also a very healthy diet as most of them are full of omegas, vitamins and other important minerals and nutrients.
Drink Clean Water
Water is the basic necessity of our life but unfortunately, we have reduced its consumption in our daily routine. We are use to of drinking water only when it’s available to us or in access while our body needs a lot of water depending on our physique, work environment and weather. Water helps in cleaning toxins from our body that improves our mental functionality, energizes our muscles and control our body temperature. Not a pet rule but we need to drink at least 8 glasses of clean water in a day and be sure this quantity is apart from the water we in-take during our food times.
Manage your mental health
When it comes to building a healthy lifestyle, it’s easy to concentrate on the physical aspects of health and ignore the mental upkeep. Remember that your mental health is a foundation of your overall health. It’s important to manage and asses your feelings on a day-to-day basis. If you feel negative towards others, you could cause more unhappiness at work, school, or in your social life.
Exercise is also the most ignored part of our daily routine. Health depends a lot on the daily exercise but once again we are busy enough to give time for our daily exercise. The best excuse given to avoid daily exercise is that I walk a lot during my office hours as I work in a multistory building that has a lot of stairs.
Never forget that the walk during work hours is always full of stress and the soul of exercise is the calmness of mind to gain fresher spirit. A few miles walk in the evening or morning doesn’t give our muscles a constant movement but also provides us time to breath fresh and ponder upon our natural surroundings and enjoy the beauty of life. It gives you a healthier hearth in a sound body.
